I'm an experienced technology leader, helping to create, grow, and evolve teams – especially in mission-led, emotionally complex, or high-impact spaces such as Trust & Safety.


I work with evolving organisations that need senior technology leadership, without needing a full-time hire. Whether you’re modernising legacy systems, building a high-trust engineering culture, or navigating team complexity, I provide clarity, direction, and momentum.

I've led teams through big transformations, built inclusive and resilient cultures, and delivered initiatives like AI-driven safety systems and large-scale compliance programmes. Transparency, authenticity, and psychological safety aren't just buzzwords to me. I create environments that help people do the best work of their careers, and grow into the next generation of leaders.

These days I work with organisations on a fractional and advisory basis – elevating teams through strengthening engineering practices, modernising systems and processes, and creating the kind of culture that makes great work sustainable.

Ways I can take teams to the next level

1 Fractional & interim technology or safety leadership

For organisations where there isn't the need to commit to a full time position, or if you want an experienced tech leader at a fraction of the cost of a full time salary, I can help out with fractional and interim support.

This might be right for you if:

You're just starting up; you don't want a full time person sitting around being paid regardless if your needs are only sporadic, but those needs are there. You've researched what a very experienced leader could cost you full time (ouch), and although you'd love this expertise you just don't have the budget. Maybe you need help getting the right permanent hire, but you want to keep everything else ticking over in the meantime. Or you may find yourself needing very senior support for a set period (for example ramping up to a fundraise or an IPO), where someone could partner with your existing leadership to share a bit of the load.

I would always work with you to understand your individual needs, but typically these kinds of engagements would be 1-2 days per week for around 3-24 months, with an agreement around emergencies or other sporadic needs outside of this.

2 Standalone consultancy & advisory engagements

When you don't need support on an ongoing or extended basis, but instead need help with a more standalone problem to solve.

These types of engagements can take all kinds of forms, for example: working with your team to shepherd a new progression framework, overhauling an incident response program, setting up a hiring framework specific to individual markets, embedding responsible AI principles into development, coaching and mentoring emerging leaders, or help designing organisational structures.

Trust & Safety expertise: Outside of more general technology leadership, my experience also spans working in Trust & Safety. As such I can help with creating a T&S strategy, investigating and building out a business case for investment, embedding safety by design principles in product design, and identifying opportunities to enhance opportunities to enhance operations with technology such as machine learning (responsibly).

3 Workshops

I have a set of tried-and-tested workshops that are available to be run with companies, either on site or virtually. Most of these are aimed either at Engineering Managers or wider technology teams, but if there's a particular topic or audience that you'd like to focus on I can work with you to build something bespoke.

Examples of workshop topics include:

4 Coaching

I take on an extremely limited number of coaching sessions, working primarily with women and other members of groups underrepresented in technology. Please contact me directly for more information and availability.

5 NED/Trustee work

And finally, I am available to take on Non-Executive Director, or Trustee positions for organisations where my values are in alignment, and where my expertise will bring new strengths.
